OK, Here it goes. A couple of days ago I was told very loudly that I was in trouble because I haven’t posted anything in almost a year. I actually really was quite surprised I remembered my username when I went to log in. My last post was about my first day as a Freshman in highschool. I am now in the middle of summer and on my way to being a Sophomore. It’s crazy how fast time flies by.
I miss school and dance (that is also over in the summer) in a way. Dance more than school, but I know that once summer is finally over I won’t be ready to go back. A lot of exciting things will be happening this summer. Some of my friends from youth camp are finally going to be allowed to come to Franklin in August. I can’t wait! I have been talking about it half the summer. Another thing is I get to go to the beach!!!! I haven’t been to the beach in years. I was used to going every year, but since I’ve been in public school and mom is teaching and the girls are in school and work we haven’t been able to work a time in. I am so blessed that we get to go this summer. And the most exciting for me….I turn 15 in August which means I get my driving permit!! I am so excited but kind of scared. I don’t think I’m going to be a very good driver.
Of course, my summer hasn’t been all good. About a week ago I had to say goodbye to one of my really good friends. I need to start avoiding Navy kids. They always get ran out of my life way before I’m ready. Thankfully, My friend is being stationed in the same place that Arden is right now. I hope that they will go to Solid Rock in MD with the Andersons.
Well, I can’t think of much more to write about right now, but I will try to keep my blog updated.

I fianlly decied to post about my first day as a high schooler.
For starters, I had no idea where i was supposed to go that morning, so i just walked through the school until I saw some of my friends sitting in the commons. When I sat down I asked them if they were scared and they all exploded on me tellling me how scared they were. I was glad to know that I was not the only one about to go cry in a corner.
After sitting in the commons for about 15 minutes the teachers told us to go into the gym where we would be told what homeroom we were supposed to go to. It was really confusing, but I made it to homeroom by following my friends who probably were even more confused then I was. My homeroom teacher handed us papers and went over some rules with us, then she gave all of us our locker number and combination. She told us to go get unpacked and to come back when we were done. Once all the kids found their lokcer they started to put the combination it. Everyone tried many times and they had other people try to open the lockers as well, but they would not open. Our teacher thought we were gone for a long time, so she went to check on us. It ended up that she had been given the wrong set of combinations as soon as i got my real one and got my locker open the bell for 1st period rang and everyone paniced. I grabbed a notebook, folder and pencil and put everything else in my locker and started to head to my class when i realized i had no idea where my class was. Luckly, the teacher I have 1st period is my friends mom. He told me where to go and I had to push my way through the hallway. When i got to my class, I found it to be full of uperclass men. Wow, that scared me, but a few minutes later a few other 9th graders came, which made me feel so much better.
I spent the next couple of periods running up and down stairs trying to find my classes. Finally it was lunch time. I knew where i was going and what I was doing. I was able to calm down a bit and talk to two of my best friends. They were having a day much like mine, but it was the first i had seen them all day. After lunch I have English. I knew where the class was because it is right across from my mom’s room. I also know the teacher, that made me more comfortable too. The next class i have is steps, which is cooking and sewing and it is on the other side of the building in the end of the middle school. I went really fast and surprisingly made it to class and had extra time, but my last class is on the other side of the building UPSTAIRS!!!!
It was a very scary and exhusting day. I have finally learned how to mange to get to all of my classes on time and make room for locker stops. It just took a lot of practice.

In a couple of hours I will be spending my first day as a 9th grader. I haven’t been able to sleep all night because of the butterflies that are in my stomach.
In a way I’m not excited for school to start at all, but in a way I am, it will be soo exciting to experience high school. Hopefully I will have a few classes with some of my friends from church, but if not maybe i can persuade some of my other friends to come to Living Faith.
I am getting really really nervous. And more posts will come about my first day of high school and my second year of public school.

I just got back from seeing the new Batman movie, The dark Knight with my friends, Kayla, Mary, and Jess. It was soooo awesomely amazing. Heath Ledger did an excellent job playing the joker. The way that he talked and laughed really mad the movie completely amazing. The movie inspired us to try something new… this is what we got in the end.

after a weekend in Roanoke and a week at the Anderson’s, I am finally home. I enjoyed my week so much, but I am extremely happy to be home. I get to sleep in my own bed for the first time in 8 days and I won’t have to listen to Arden’s weird noises that she makes in her sleep, hahaha. =p.
I will miss you, Anderson’s, and thank you soo very much for inviting me to your house. I will hopefully come back to stay with you soon. =D

For the past year i’ve been trying to plan out a week at the Anderson’s house. Finally, we had a plan for the Scotts to bring me up while they took Henry and Auggie to the airport. I had a very LONG car trip with Charlie and Eli crying in the backseat. Finally, i arrived at Arden’s. We spent most of our time in massive giggling fits and on the computer checking facebook, webkinz, Rhett and Link videos, and wordpress. Arden eventually talked me into getting a blog. Now Arden will get to spend the rest of her time trying to explain to me how to work wordpress.
